Story:
The protagonist and the appropriately called 'Hero' of the story. Born and raised in a village located far away from the rest of the world, the boy chose to venture outside to chase after his dream of becoming the Greatest Hero of All Time, following the footsteps of the 'Great Hero' from a thousand years ago. Chosen by the powerful, magical relic known simply as 'The Bracelet', Iron Tail is granted magical abilities that will help him overcome countless foes and obstacles and if not those, he always has his powerful tail to knock either of them away! Naive and childish to a fault, but still a Hero with the Heart of Gold! The road to being the next Great Hero is a long and difficult one, but he's set on making it through to the end!

What I hope is a start of me finishing more of my pictures, here's Iron Tail, the character most of my watchers would be familiar with! The character's concept is pretty simple: he's a kid who dreams of becoming a great Hero.

Oh, and he has a powerful and magical relic stuck around his big tail.

Not exactly the most complicated character I have (to make younger watchers relate to him easily), but his growth/development all depend on the characters around him. The character goes back to the good ol' days when our Hero game characters don't need a complicated back story to be likable (Sonic the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Klonoa, Rayman) - it's what they do that matters! You know what they say:

“Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction.”

I think that was a quote from Einstein but don't quote -me- on that xD

One of my goals is to one day draw up a comic (still gotta work a LOT on the anatomy) or write a story starring Iron Tail. Not exactly the biggest and most hopeful goals out there but... one can try, right?

Thanks! And yeah, the character's meant to be that typical Hero character you normally find in storybooks so people could relate to him easily but a bit more explored

I agree a character doesn't need a complicated back story to be likeable it just mattered what they did :D
