It's kind of funny how Sammy went from 'just another one of Evil Tail's followers' to possibly the trickiest and unpredictable force to be reckoned with.

If anyone ever asked how Sammy got to where she is, I would definitely say: "it's all :iconblazewaffle:'s doing". No, no... she didn't PAY me any money to boost her character's ranking (she didn't want to pay me anyway .n. ), but she did continue to work on and improve her character!

I think I remember saying that in the contest a long while ago, I was worried if the winners would just take their victory and then leave their characters for me alone to work on (I mean, give me a break! ;u; I've already dedicated a lot of my time to other characters I didn't originally create like Evil Tail, Gem, Ashes and Sehsa).

Blazewaffle did no such thing though :U

After reading and seeing what she has been working on Sammy since then, it helps me come up with ideas of my own. Now I can easily see Sammy being one of the top dogs (pardon the pun) in the story, meaning I can see her playing big roles and such :la:

And now she's officially Gem's Rival instead of Riley. I would go into detail why their rivalry would work so well... but I'm going to pull a 'Lazy Fazz' here and say: "it's a cat (Gem) against a dog (Sammy)! What more reason do you want??" <-<; >->;

I guess we're seeing another big rivalry next to Iron vs Evil, or Ashes vs Sehsa.

And like the other two rivalries above: Gem and Sammy possibly teaming up one day would probably make another unstoppable force! ;A:

It seems like one is very serious while the other is laid back and happy :). Great job with making all of the characters fit into this pic here! I agree when people say that this is very cute XD

Thank you xD But yeah it's true one is more social than the other and it's why I thought their clashing personalities seemed fitting for a 'rivalry'. Funny that it took like three years before I found the other character lol Goes to show you won't know what you'll find if you stay

Ah, it's been a good while since ye posted something (even despite those wips ><')
Anyway, you're saying that these two will be rivals eh? >< A nice match-up :la: Dog vs Cat rivalries tend to be used quite a bit, but are effective :la:

Awww sorry ;A; University and all! Plus, I couldn't find my sketching pencil this whole time until I was cleaning up my room xD;

And yeah, true that the dox vs cat rivalry is overdone, but then again, I only realized it -after- I decided to make Sammy as Gem's rival xD I wasn't even thinking about the fact that one of them was a dog and the other was a cat.
